Lojo Russo is described as a songwriter with “a lot of lyrical power”, a guitarist with “powerful playing” and a vocalist with “one hell of a voice”. With raw energy she moves from sweet folk to roots rock without missing a beat. On stage she combines her sense of music with a sense of humor—sometimes outrageous, sometimes intense, always original.

If one were to judge solely by appearances, Pamela Richardson might be dismissed as just another folk singer with an atypical but lovely alto voice. But those first observations can be deceiving. Though her songs are lyrical and steeped with emotion, Richardson foregoes the quixotic tradition of the folk singer and instead writes songs of the heart. Love and loss in all their myriad shades make up her palette, and she paints her stories masterfully.

Folksinger Anna Stange offers upbeat programs featuring traditional folk music to audiences all across the United States from Seldovia, Alaska, to Key West, Florida. From ballads to singalongs, her performances feature old favorites from the American folk tradition to newer songs she's written, and some gathered along her travels. Accompanying herself on guitar, banjo, mountain dulcimer, and simple folk instruments, Anna's easy going and welcoming style focuses on fun and appeals to audiences of all ages.

Joy-filled, uplifting and inspiring are just some of the words used to describe Tricia Alexander’s music and performance. Singer, songwritier and performance poet, Reiki Master and BodyTalk practitioner, powerful vocalist, acomplished guitarist, percussionist and harmonica player begin to describe the woman herself. The Folk Music Source Book places her “intelligent contemporary writing” in the same league as: Holly Near, Cheryl Wheeler, Anne Hills and Christine Lavin.
